WRc 'Virtually' Out and About

Water Loss and Flow Measurement

Our Senior flow measurement consultant Andy Godley alongside Mikal Willmott of Severn Trent Water shared their insight on large metering performance for the international Water Loss community of the IWA earlier this year. If you'd like to find out more the webinar recording can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/

Andy and Mikal are also involved in a new international collaborative study that is launching exploring 'very very large meters'- of 1000mm (40 inches). Large diameter meters are used to record System (Distribution) Input and flows on transmission (trunk) mains. Their accuracy is key to managing water resources, leakage and optimising the network. More details and contact details if you'd like to get involved and review the test plan can be found on our post here: https://www.linkedin.com/

WRc Approved

Earlier in August Dr Leo Carswell delivered a webinar for the Institute of Water exploring WRc Approved and the impact that COVID-19 has had on operating practices, and the steps that have been taken to ensure this critical scheme has remained 'open for business' serving the needs of both the supply chain and water company procurement teams. You can view the recording of the webinar on the Institute of Water site here: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com.
