We are now looking to recruit an Assistant Technician to work full time. This role will be based out of Swindon. Full training will be given.
To support the technical team in maintaining and setting up test rigs and carrying out tests to specified procedures and standards.
The specific tasks are as follows:
- Carry out testing on water related products including water meters, flushable wipes, pipe samples and other equipment to defined procedures,
- Help maintain test facilities – e.g. cleaning and servicing as required,
- Help construct or adapt test facilities to enable new or equipment specific tests,
- Support other practical or lab based work across WRc as required.

- Mechanical aptitude
- Eye for detail
- Methodical and able to follow procedures
- Minimum HNC in engineering discipline
- Electrical / electronic experience may be beneficial
