WRc presentation at SWIG

On Wednesday WRc’s Robert Pitchers presented at the Water & Health Workshop which had been organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry and Sensors for Water Interest Group (SWIG).

“New Microbiological Techniques for Monitoring the Microbiological Quality of Drinking Water”. It provided an overview of current developments and included research and analysis carried out as part of the recently completed Aquavalens project that involved WRc. Robert discussed the potential benefits from various new and developing technologies alongside proven simpler tests for managing the microbiological safety of drinking water.
