A client is currently developing a long term strategy for water and wastewater assets at a manufacturing site. The company requested WRc’s assistance in collating disparate geological and hydrogeological data and reviewing design details for their current water supply boreholes.
The project improved knowledge of the abstraction capacity of the local aquifer, identified data gaps in knowledge of local groundwater resources and provided advice on current borehole design and yield.
WRc provided recommendations including acquiring additional potential hydrogeological information, well development and new borehole installation. WRc’s other proposals with help refine the client’s future water management strategy.
