Welcome to the May Edition of our Newsletter

WRc is pleased to announce the launch of its new corporate website - particular attention has been given to clarity and navigability and we hope you will find it a useful on-line gateway to our services.

This Newsletter illustrates the breadth of these services, with contracts won in the regulatory area such as work for the Environment Agency on designation of new Nitrate Vulnerable Zones (NVZs) and support for the EC in promoting best practice under Drinking Water and Urban Waste Water Directives and providing technical advice on the Rotterdam Convention on banned and severely restricted chemicals.

For water utilities and developers, two updates to longstanding publications are being launched – Sewers for Adoption 7th edition and the Civil Engineering Specification for the Water Industry 7th edition. Also, to enhance its innovative credentials, a new version of the TR61 cost estimation tool has been launched which now incorporates carbon emission estimates
