WRc launch 2018

Odour Management User Group

 

 

WRc developed the idea of an Odour Management User Group in 2017 to include representatives from water utilities across the UK that were directly or indirectly involved with the management of odour.

 

The 2018 Group met for the first meeting last week at WRc, Swindon.

WRc deliver independent audits of 17 WwTW to ensure full compliance

 

WRc was commissioned by a UK Water Company to undertake detailed independent audits of 17 waste water treatment works to assess whether the plants, if operated in accordance with good industry practice, were capable of achieving compliance with all permit conditions placed on the owners and operators and highlighting any areas of deficiency.

By utilising WRc’s unique scientific and process expertise in assessing innovative technology applications and their capability, tools were developed to assess over 140 emerging technologies for their suitability for use in public water supplies.
