Mark Smith, Managing Director at WRc comments “We look forward to meeting again with everyone that made the 2012 Innovation Day such a success. Since we last got together, innovation has taken an even higher profile in the sector and our challenge now is to ensure that the technical skills-sets that exist are used to develop innovative solutions. We have themed the 2013 event as “Learning from Other Sectors” and WRc are aiming to engage with experts from outside the water sector so we can be more innovative in our thinking”.

The event will be attended by up to 150 delegates from utility companies, government, suppliers, technology experts and universities. The event is free to attend and will aim to demonstrate how an open approach to innovation can benefit all stakeholders.
