Hächler Umwelttechnik

The Hächler Group was founded in 1946 and today employs more than 470 people from many different countries. Originally it was a construction company and over the years Hächler developed 3 business units of 11 companies which are divided into construction, properties and environmental services.

The branch “environment” is divided into three companies, all involved in sewer rehabilitation, cleaning and inspection of pipes. They can respond and undertake modifications of their robots very quickly and continuously improve them.

The Hächler Umwelttechnik (Environmental) is the company who designs and manufactures systems for the sewer rehabilitation. The production plant is in Germany, about 200 km from the head office in Switzerland. They started in 1994 with a system for the renovation of lateral-connections (EL-system). Later they designed the different cutting units (HF 200, HF 130, and Climb). Since they started to manufacture their own UV - curing equipment in 2009, they are happy to have the complete range of solutions for the sewer rehabilitation. Furthermore, they have a successful co-operation with BKP-Berolina. They are a worldwide technology leader in providing UV-cured glass-fibre reinforced plastics, GRP and Cured In Place (CIP) lining systems for trenchless rehabilitation of pipes.
