WRc to run Part G Workshops on behalf of CLG
Enhanced hot water safety and water efficiency measures for all new homes were announced by Housing Minister Iain Wright with changes to Part G of the Building Regulations.
In parallel with these regulatory changes WRc Group in conjunction with WRc-NSF ran a series of workshops to provide a detailed understanding of the implication of the changes on behalf of the Department for Communities and Local Government.
The workshops were held across the country over 5 dates in June/July. They enabled anyone involved in building control, building design, product manufacture and installation of hot & cold water systems in buildings to prepare for the changes and to understand the opportunities this new edition offers in terms of allowing new technology and providing benefits to householders.
