At the start of the new millennium, Sanexen developed a new water system rehabilitation process that uses a trenchless method. This process is intended for cities and industries experiencing a need for significant maintenance work when the drinking water supply system has reached the end of its useful life. The process, called AQUA-PIPE®, was developed by Sanexen‘s team of engineers. This technology eliminates the need for complete excavation of road foundations, followed by replacement, by using the existing water pipe to build a new one. This innovative method translates to water system rehabilitation at a distinctly lower cost as well as the capacity for AQUA-PIPE to reinstate service connections from within the pipeline are what distinguish AQUA-PIPE’s unique technology from other conventional methods. AQUA-PIPE is a structural, class IV trenchless technology exclusively designed for drinking water distribution systems.
