Innovation through Collaboration
Portfolio is a £2.0 million per annum shared-cost research programme, managed by WRc, which helps drive continual improvement and greater efficiencies in the water industry. Bringing together recognised experts from WRc and other specialist organisations, Portfolio projects deliver innovative solutions to pressing operational, capital and environmental problems. At the heart of Portfolio’s success lies collaboration - allowing resources and skills to be pooled and maximum value leveraged from budgets.
Projects are sponsored by between 3 and 15 partners and details of proposed, present and past projects can be viewed below:
How to participate
Developed closely with the water industry, the biannual programme is published via www.waterportfolio.com and the Portfolio ebrochure. The projects are usually open to all, but once underway, current participants can restrict membership. The findings from completed studies are not usually available to non-participants.
